I am running PHP 4.01pl2 and Xitami 2.5b4 webserver on Windows NT 4 SP6a.
The PC is a P3 550 with 512MB Ram.
Code: test.php
<HTML>
<BODY>
<FORM ACTION=test.php METHOD=POST>
<INPUT TYPE=text NAME=field1>
<INPUT TYPE=submit>
</FORM>
<?php print("Field1: ". $field1); ?>
</BODY>
</HTML>
When you click the submit button, it should print out the contents of the
text field below the form. It does not. If you change the METHOD to GET, it
works. But I can't use GET all the the time. When using POST, the variables
aren't created and the HTTP_POST_VARS array is empty.
This same code works on Windows 98 with the same server and the same version
of PHP
