Hi all. I'm developing a system in which I need to
make a direct copy of an existing file (in unix of
course). We all know how to use the php copy command,
but I'm looking for a way to copy/create files from
the web without running permissions like 777 (yikes!)
on the whole directory. I could always have the
directory that's being written to be owned by the
webserver, but I'm not always in control of the
environment so I need to find another way. Any
suggestions? Would any other languages be able to do
it better?
Thanks in advance.
