2 things: Naming conventions and Clear names.
instead of $name use $sName.
instead of $n use $nCurrentRow
prefix numeric values with "n" like $nCount
prefix string values with "s" like $sTitle
prefix array values with "a" like $aStats
prefix object values with "o" like $oRecord
prefix bool values with "b" like $bIsDogprefix reference values with "r" like $rnCustID Group you variables into arrays or objects if possible: instead of $firstname_a use $oPerson1->firstname or $aPersons[1]['firstname']; Just some ideas...
