Thank you for the reply. I'm trying to "roll my own" template system, but don't really know how to go about some of the details. My best bet would probably be to install phplib and dissect it....see how the experts did it! At the very least it should be a great learning experience :) thanks! Your business I've not used that system myself but if the point is to seperate HTML from PHP then I think that's a little 'over-kill'. AFAIK the XML/XSLT combo is best for sights that feature message boards where users are likely to want to use bold, italic and otherwise prettified text.
