1.) I would like to chat about using logins with php. I think this requires sessions, but I would like to talk about ways to provide "user accounts" and relate user details to the accounts. 2.) E-Mailing using PHP. How to configure sendmail or qmail to allow PHP to sendmail out from variables held in database. 3.) Authorisation. I am looking at holding account information for users, and a set of details that relate to that user. I do not want dead accounts, so I was thinking of using the same process as the PHP mailing list, where an email is sent to the entered email address, and you are required to reply back to "activate" the account, I would like to hear off ways to do this, or any better or other "authorisation" procedures. I want to talk about this off the list to save the whole list getting tons of junk mail. Look Forward to hearing from you. Matt.
