the directory permissions are set to 777 / 0777 any user, any group, etc. at least that is how I understand it. if i'm wrong please correct me, I do appreciate the help thank you. php-general@gremlins.com.hk wrote:

[snip] You need to change to the permissions of the directory in which you want to copy the file to, so that it's writable by the 'user' running the webserver.
