The session handling in PHP is also based on cookies.
It's may easier for you to use the session function instead of cookies and
self programmed code, but it makes no changes if the user turned of the
cookies.
An other idea, where I'm working on it is:
make a initally parser in php, which is controlling the UserID or SessionID.
Now, all other script calls must be handled by this parser.
But where to store the sessionID ? In the URI!!!!!
www.domain.com/cryptic-sessionid/path/doc.some
Now you have to tell the apache to send all file calls to your parse script.
you can do it with this commands in the /etc/httpd/httpd.conf:
RewriteEngine on
RewriteRule (\.some)$ /parser.php
now will apache all filecalls with the ending .some send to the parser and
you can get the originally sent URI in the variable $REQUEST_URI.
if you god more questions, ask me directly
I'm still working on this concept
