This is true. But I believe that the original question was actually
the other way around... Make a local variable into a global one.
The way to do that is this:
<?
myFunc() {
$myFuncLocalVar = "Hello!";
echo $myFuncLocalVar;
$GLOBALS[myFuncLocalVar] = $myFuncLocalVar;
}
myFunc();
echo $myFuncLocalVar;
?>
