Subject: [PHP] passing objects across pages
Although I am not new to PHP, I am new at approaching PHP from an OO
approach. I was wondering whether PHP can handle the passing of objects
across pages.
Lets take an example. On a page I take in input about an
account the user wants created, and once the user submits, I take that
information and build a UserAccount object. On the next page I would take
this object, and pull out many of the fields and display them to the user
so that he/she may verify the information he/she entered is correct. If it
is, the user presses submit, and I take that object and add the
information inside it into a database. If the user presses back, the input
page takes the values that the object currently has an pre-populates the
fields. I would know how to do everything in this example except for
passing the object from page to page.
In jsp, for example, you can set objects into request, and pull them out
on the next page, then repeat the process for wherever you go.
Thanks for the help,
Luis
