If you're continuing a string definition, use the period (.):
$mystring = "This is the start".
" and this is the end";
OR:
$mystring = "This is the start".
" and this is the end";
OR:
$mystring = "This is the start";
$mystring .= " and this is the end";
To continue any other statement, just continue it on the next line:
$result = mysql_query($query ) or
die("Error: ".mysql_error());

Subject: [PHP] PHP Somebody knows which is the character continuation
line on PHP
Some compilers have a character to continue the statement line to a new
line when this becomes longer then 80 characters and you want to continue
on a new line.
In Visual Basic this character is '_' (the underscore) by example
Do you know which to use on PHP.
I would apprecciate your help.
