echo basename($_SERVER['PHP_SELF']); http://www.php.net/basenameThank you Torben. Reading through the annotations on this manual entry, it looks like I'd be safer using the home-built function after all! Well, not really. But it seems that the optional 2nd parameter corrupts the 1st parameter even if it is a predefined variable (which is what I'm doing) -- which could have repercussions for $_SERVER['PHP_SELF'] down the road, right?
