Val, hey thanks.. that's a very interesting data type. wonder why i never knew it. thanks a bunch. i'll def. be using it more often now. the current problem at hand of getting the : error:Access denied for user: 'mjimm@localhost' (Using password: YES) is really jamming the thought process. i have no clue why this is happening on the Load Data Infile command only...
