Hi,
When simulating a GET or POST request to execute a PHP script, the
script stops executing when the Apache timeout value is reached. Is there
a way to circumvent this. Alternatively, what possible repercussions can a
higher Apache timeout value have ?
Sample code :
$host = "123.4.5.67";
$path = "/redir_in.php";
$mydata = "from=$field1&to=$field2";
$sp = fsockopen($host,80);
fputs($sp,"POST $path HTTP/1.1");
fputs($sp,"Host: $host");
fputs($sp,"Content-type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded");
fputs($sp,"Content-length: ".strlen($mydata)."");
fputs($sp,"Connection: close");
fputs($sp,$mydata);
fclose($sp);
TIA
Gunjan
