mmm what if you have the html part made as an include to both sides?
example
----------------------------
page1.php
..
include "myhtmlstuff";
...
-----------------------------
page2.php
..
include "myhtmlstuff";
...
-----------------------------
myhtmlstuff
?>
<tag> <blah> <tag>
<?
------------------------------
do you thougth about this?
