First of all, I'm sorry to post a message that's not strictly on topic,
but I'd really like to know if anyone else is experiencing this.
Whenever I post to the PHP lists via NNTP, using the danish version of
StarOffice 5.2 for Linux (intel), the mail ends up with all doublequotes
removed. If someone then replies to my post and includes the original
message, then everything is there except the doublequotes are shown as
question marks :-(
This makes it almost impossible to post code - which if quite annoying
:-(
If I post to the list via SMTP, then everything is fine.
I suspect that this could be a StarOffice problem, but I cant seem to
find anything at www.sun.com mentioning this, so I suspect that it might
also be a problem with the news->mailing-list gateway.
Any explanations or suggestions are very welcome!
Best regards,

PS. I'm posting my messages as plain text, not HTML, RTF or StarOffice
format.
PPS. I'll just take this oppotunity to test a few characters and so on,
so ignore the junk in the bottom of this mail.
