How to use bind arguments

Hi! A function like this one: function SendQuery($li_connect, $ls_query, $args) { return ibase_query($li_connect, $ls_query, $args); } ibase_query is an Interbase function which declaration is: int ibase_query ( [int link_identifier, string query [, int bind_args]]) Why can't something like this be done? Is there a way to pass to a function a variable parameter and then use the complete set as another function parameter? Thanks VB
