Hi,
I have following code in my script.
<?
session_start();
header("Location:nextpage.php?username=$username&=SID");
?>
This is supposed to start a session and take me to nextpage.php but it
does not transfer the session name and id in the url and if I have
cookies off then I cannot see my session id. I have also tried it
without "&=SID" but still it doesnt work.
If I have a plain html tag like.
<a href="nextpage.php>nextpage</a>
Then it will automatically add the session id to the url without the
need of <? =SID ?>.
I have compiled php with --enable-trans-sid. Isnt is suppose to
transfer the id regardless of weather cookies is on or off??
I am using PHP 4.0.0 on apache ver 1.3.9 SuSE linux 6.3.
I need the session id to be transferred using the header function to
account for cookie less browsers.
Thanks in advance.
Vikash.
