image counter and cash

i have php script that behave like counter and in resualt its send
image(gif)
when i view the gif from the browser, its reload any time i call it and
count the hits.
but to use it i combine it into the page as <img> but the browser load
it from the
computer cash. what can i do to force it read the img from the site?
