Well, if your looking to stop the script dead in it's tracks, you can use
exit() I believe. If you are looking to stop sending output to the
browser... well that's just as simple as not sending any print or unparsed
HTML statements.
Well, calling exit() or die() before header() would cause header() to be
unreachable. Calling them after header() would defeat the purpose since
header() would cause an error if there was already browser output.
Unfortunately, not sending any output isn't feasible since that would
imply re-engineering the whole thing.
