I don't see how PHP can be infinitely looping.... It has a max time that it
can "execute" a script that is admin-set. Check in your php.ini file for a
maximum execution time.

Subject: [PHP] infinite looping httpd processes
Hi there, we are running PHPv4.0.0 on Red hat linux 6.2, on normal Intel
boxes... and we are finding some of our apache processes are infinite
looping (due to some badly written PHP no doubt.). Anyway, does anybody
know of anyway that we can work out which script is being run to cause this?
Currently our only diagnostic tool is top, and this just tells us as much as
httpd is infinite looping and the PID. We cant use apache logs to find the
script name as we have had to disable them, we get over 1,000 pageviews on
our site a second, and its over 50GB a day of crap!!
Is there anyway to find out which script is causing this problem? We have
over 1,000 different scripts also, so its a needle in a haystack!
Thanks in advance,
Adam
