I have problem. I'm Using a Win2K server with oracle8i,
php4 and Apache. Whenever i use OCILogon the php file comes up with the
following error :
Fatal error: Call to unsupported or undefined function ocilogon() in
i:\apache\test.php on line 8
Line 8 looks like this :
$c1 = OCILogon("scott","tiger",$db);
(not the actual user/password of course)
I installed a dll called php_oci8.dll that i got from
http://download.swwwing.com/php4/modules/
using "extension=php_oci8.dll".
This did not work.
Then i tried installing PHP3 which apparently has a oci module included
called php3_oci80.dll. Including this did not help either. I also tried
using the older oracle functions, namely Ora_Logon. This came up with the
same error as above, only it said ora_logon instead of ocilogon.
Does anyone know how to get Oracle8i support in a Windows PHP?
With Kind Regards
Allan K
