HI,
I was reinstalling apache and PHP4.0 and the install stopped at the make
in PHP4.
With a IRIX 6.5.7 box, tcsh, perl 5.003, sgi cc compiler... (I need to
use the sgi cc instead of gcc since there are problems getting the
$remote_addr to work when using gcc)
I did the following:
FOR APACHE: (for mod-so)
./configure --enable-module=rewrite --enable-shared=rewrite
--enable-module=proxy --enable-shared=proxy
make
make install
all went fine... and (knowing I would remake it after PHP was made)
PHP:
./configure --with-mysql --with-apxs=/data/local/apache/bin/apxs
--enable-track-vars
make
Then the make FAILED:
rainier 54# make make: file
`/usr/local/new_stuff/php/php-4.0.0/build/program.mk' line 29: Syntax
error
the line 29 is:
$(PROGRAM_NAME): $(PROGRAM_DEPENDENCIES) $(PROGRAM_OBJECTS)
$(LINK) $(PROGRAM_LDFLAGS) $(PROGRAM_OBJECTS) $(PROGRAM_LDADD)
-------
I have no idea what happened here. It all went fine when I installed it
before with php3.0.
I have search the email archive and the php site. Any suggestions would be
most welcome.
Thanks,
Dean
