Oracle Connection

Ok I believe I'm very close to getting PHP to connect to oracle. I have
RedHat 6.1 running with PHP 4.0 and Oracle 8.1.6 Client. I've got it all
compiled in nicely, but when I try to connect from the PHP box to a Windows
NT Oracle DB I get an error
Warning: OCISessionBegin: ORA-12705: invalid or unknown NLS parameter value
specified in /www/htdocs/vocalvillage.com/oracletest/dale.vox on line 2
Can anyone provide me with any insite as to what I can do to resolve this?
