Accessing web page from command prompt

Is there a way, from the linux/unix/?? command prompt, to submit a URL (as a filled out form) and get the html output from the server?
What I'm after is a way for my clients to fill out a form on their site, in whatever tools they might use already, and come to a common interface point to submit that info to my site, and get a parseable result.
