I've never tried it with the .html extention but I did with different ones so I think this could work:
AddType application/x-httpd-php html

Is there a directive that can be placed in an htaccess file that will cause all the files with a .html extension in a directory or a specific file with a .html extension to be parsed by php. I know you can set something in httpd.conf to parse .html files, But can you do it on the fly so to speak using a htaccess directive. Im using php4.
