I am in the process of migrating our intranet over to PHP. We have quite a few perl scripts leftover from the PRE-PHP days. I don't feel like rewriting them, and I think it'd be a waste of time. I run some PHP templates, something along the lines of Apache SSI, and would like to fork and exec these perl scripts and display the output as I see fit. I think I know how to do it (did it 100 times in C), however I'm not sure what kind of affect this would have on my Apache processes. Is this a wise thing to do? Is there something I need to consider? Any input would be appreciated. Michael Krznaric RAND Worldwide Webmaster 905-625-2000 x 2325
