Would anyone care to throw one of the 'max out the connections and database usage' tests at a X86 box through a SSL/SSH connection and share what was the difference under load between encrypted and unencrypted? Something that delivers a web page to a VERY fast box so that the render time and decryption time on the client side is nil? It's not what SPEED it will do that I am interested in, but the ratio. If I wanted to give a user the option of all his/her access to be SSL encrypted except for the first challenge, I am wondering how much it will slow the site. The data I have on the site I really want to protect. -- ________________________________________________________________ Dennis K.
