Hi,
the php mail function is really a great feature. but i do have some problems with it (LAMP):
when i send an e-mail with the mail() function with the fouth optional argument (extra headers)
added, the mail recieved has no Reply-To:, X-Mailer: ... header, and even the From: header portion
reads : nobody@servername.com. this happens even when i copy&paste the examples that i found at
php.net and so on. where do i have to look for the error (OS, web server, php, my code)? the mail
function returns TRUE, so i assume there shouldn't be any syntax problems in the extra header
argument.
Thanks for your tips & hints
Steff
