GetFileFromPath(), to my recollection, would, given
/usr/home/hans/file.txt
output
file.txt
This could be done in this way, perhaps:
$array = explode("/","/usr/home/hans/file.txt");
$c = count($array)-1;
$filename = $array[$c]; // last element
