PHP can't close a browser window. The PHP code on on the
web server, and your web browser is on your computer. The
web browser simply reads the PHP script's output.
You can output some JavaScript which instructs the browser
window to close, though:
<SCRIPT LANGUAGE="Javascript">
<!--
window.close();
// -->
</SCRIPT>
(or something similar...)
