If you do something like:
<a href="foo"><img width="100" height="100"
border="0" src="bar"></a>
Netscape renders it differently from
<a href="foo">
<img width="100" height="100" border="0" src="bar">
</a>
In that it underlines the whitespace following (but not preceding) the image.
There are other examples.
