Hi Jim, Thanks for the reply. I appreciate you asking why we are not in the top 100 for PCDataOnline. PCDataOnline, in fact all of the rating services, rank sites by unique visitors for that week or month that you are looking at. We have a long way to go to be listed with Yahoo, Excite, etc. for number of unique visitors!! However, our pageviews and hours spent per user are what really has people taking notice. If you do not have access to PCDataOnline directly, try going to the same link you referenced below and contacting them. I know they will confirm our pageviews and stickiness statements since we are using their numbers. Our success in just a few short months is phenomenal. I am really sorry you feel we are "stinky" because our membership is only 1.3 million and doesn't rank us with Yahoo or AOL. But the fact is we are growing fast and we need good, solid, PHP programmers to keep up with the demand. If you or anyone you know has an interest, please contact jobs@neopets.com <mailto:jobs@neopets.com> . Sincerely, Lee Borth NeoPets ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jim Winstead" <jimw@php.net> To: <php-general@lists.php.net> Sent: Tuesday, August 01, 2000 9:37 PM Subject: Re: [PHP] [JOB OFFER] > In article <007f01bffbf1$6da9d500$9901a8c0@dohring.com>, Adam Powell wrote: > >Neopets.Com was started up in November, and since then, with hardly any > >marketing, has grown virally through the internet.... we are now doing 43 > >million impressions a day, 1.3 million unique users a week, and just rated > >#8 in the world for web page traffic (above Geocities, Excite, Altavista, > >Netscape and Microsoft...
