Well it works just fine for me :)
PHP 4.2.0 / Apache 2.0.36 / FreeBSD 4.5
DOM/XML enabled
libxml Version 2.4.21
HTML Support enabled
XPath Support enabled
XPointer Support enabled
As you can see, I'm using a later version of libxml than you are - maybe
that's the problem.
I am also forced to use the old functions - maybe the new names only apply
in PHP 4.3.0+?

I'm forced to use xmldoc() instead of the newer domxml_open_mem() because it
is also not recognized. What am I missing?
