Was a case of logic: I didnt want to set $var = $var but rather $var =
$another_variable, the previous page these came from was a complicated
form function and my illogic followed me to the next page.
Thanks all for pointer to echoing $query, I was too reliant on
mysql_error, and couldn't see out of the box!
