TIME SPENT ~30 hours HIGHLIGHTS Callbacks are called with module_number / type. e.g. usage - INIs could be registered from the callback Functions to search versions of an extension Updated the documentation on http://wiki.php.net/gsoc/2009/api How dependency interface is implemented on mbstring / exif : http://www.xvpj.net/2009/07/29/eapi2/ DETAILED ACTIVITIES Coded a simple search functionality to search for versions of a extension - so that, for example, all the versions (major.minor[.build[.revision]])) of a particular major or a particular build could be searched. When implementing the dependency interface on mbstring / exif, INI registration of exif had to be delayed, and was called from the callback; because on_modify event listeners (OnUpdateEncode, OnUpdateDecode) use mbstring. Since this use case might be present among other extensions as well, we decided to parse the module number and type to the callbacks; macros were implemented to make it invisible to the programmer. Wrote a small tutorial on how dependency interface can be implemented on mbstring / exif.
