HIGHLIGHTS
- Received some suggestions from the community (mailing list)
- Fixed a problem with win32 build - included zend_eapi.c in config.w32
- TSRMLS parameters are passed to callbacks to improve performance
- Added support for extensions loaded through dl()
- When a extension (say ext_dl) is loaded through dl() the callbacks of
other extensions (already loaded) are called, if they require
the ext_dl and
the versions match
- Callbacks of ext_dl are called if the required extensions are
available
- Did some testing with dl()
DETAILED ACTIVITIES
I made a few changes to the project based on replies on the pecl-dev list.
There was a performance issue, since TSRMLS parameters were not passed to
the callbacks, and had to be retrieved with TSRMLS_FETCH(). Since the
performance was a concern added the TSRMLS parameters to the callbacks.
Callbacks were not handled when extensions were loaded at runtime with dl().
This was fixed, and now the callbacks of extensions, which require the
extension that was loaded at runtime, will be called after
the initialization (MINIT) of the new extension. Also, the callbacks of the
extension loaded through dl() will be called with reference to respective
APIs.
Thanks
