Pixmap files don't load in Windows lately

I've had problems loading pixmaps from files over the last couple of binary releases - they load fine from data. It's as if they're not found ... this happens both in my baby glade file and in gtk.php, with xpm files that work fine in Glade itself (ie they're not corrupted) and that used to work fine in older releases of PHP-GTK. err msg via my glade file is: Gdk-CRITICAL **: file gdkdraw.c: line 328 (gdk_draw_drawable): assertion `src !
