gdk::draw_line

basicly gdk::draw_line is really really slow, is there an alternative? i'm trying to display a real time scrollable/zoomable waveform window but i've tried several ways and all were incredibly slow! bearly got up to 10 fps. gdk::draw_line was the fastest but still incredibly slow. is it any way faster in php-gtk 2? should i try a win32 build? or there is an easyer way of drawing a waveform (preferably faster :)). ps. if this is the wrong list to ask this question please excuse me. -- "If you really want something in this life, you have to work for it.
