I have _no_ clue how to commit to a CVS branch, we need to wait til either someone guides me gently/Christian just does it/Andrei gets back from his long weekend. But I'm 100% sure that's the problem. This is my goto-guide for CVS branching questions: http://www.psc.edu/~semke/cvs_branches.html It has never let me down. Anyway, if you want to make a change to a branch the easiest way is to just check it out, make the change, and then commit it. CVS will remember all the branch stuff for you. // The -r flag indicates the branch you want to checkout // The last argument is the name of the directory to checkout to (so you don't overwrite your PHP-GTK2 checkout. $> cvs co -r PHP_GTK_1 php-gtk php_gtk_1 Then just make your change and commit the file as normal $> cvs commit -m 'Added missing file' config.m4 Let me know if I need to be more gentle.
