This is the code: I assume that Glade adds some special alignments or so as label widget to the gtkframe, and adds the label itself as child of the alignment. That would cause GtkFrame's internal set_label method to fail. You can check this by using the Dev_GuiInspector tool to examine the nesting of the frame.
