utf8 conversion on gtkliststore?

Hello all and Andrei, I need to display some rows from the database, the text fields are in spanish. I fetch them from mysql via pear db and display them in two ways: entry field and tree view. When displaying them in the entry, all accented spanish characters are shown fine. When the data gets displayed in the store, they are cut of at that place where the accented characters appear. I use the set() method to put the data from my variables into the list store. Could it be that the set() method doesn't do utf8 conversion? -- Regards/MfG, Christian Weiske
