PHP-GTK 2 Unit Testing

Is there any value in creating a batch of unit test for the PHP-GTK 2 classes? Using a slightly modified version of PEAR::PHPUnit2_Util_Skeleton and a very simple script I can create unit test skeletons for all of the classes defined by PHP-GTK 2. We would have to do is implement the tests for each method. Its a task along the same lines as the documentation.
