Thanks for this xxoes, it's very helpful - I only have MSVS 6.0 here, so I'm not able to 'see' any of this stuff. VC7 it compiled fine. VC8 i have added "/D _USE_32BIT_TIME_T=1" to the CFLAGS at the Makefile. I have also removed /YX and replaced /GX with /EHsc. Now he is compiling at my maschine, only a few warnings:
