Hello All,
This is an email to explain my last few CVS commits.
The Sourceview and Mozembed extensions where previously "shadowing"
methods of widgets that it was dependent on. This was because I has
re-written the defs for those widgets in the scheme of these extensions
to avoid the "gtkcontainer_ce" or "gtkbin_ce not defined" errors. As a
result, previously working methods such as GdkPixBuf::new_from_file()
and GtkFrame::set_shadow_type() didn't work with the extensions enabled.
This was stupid, of course, and I'm sorry.
The good thing is that I realised this before anyone else did, and hence
have the opportunity to correct it. The solution that I propose is to
add PHP_GTK_EXPORT_CE()'s to the gen_*.c files for the extension. So I
made a script that adds these lines after the generator does its work.
It's clumsy, yes; But still better than creating a new generator for the
extension. Any suggestions/criticisms/comments are most welcome :)
Anyone who had these extensions enabled, may please update from CVS and
recompile, it should work fine now. A lot more methods have also been
implemented for both methods, (in fact, mozembed is close to 100%).
Feedback is greatly appreciated.
Thanks and Regards,
