Steph -
I agree - although I don't normally look at a title bar over the content, so I didn't catch the problem at first.
And I totally realize that all this is temporary, until the transition to Gtk2 is complete. But consider. Our Download page shows Gtk1instructions and links, but the manual links are Gtk2. Okay, we give the user a branch to either/or and choices on the search (and now that I know about it, it appears to work just fine), but now these other sites come in.
Would their update from CVS give them a branch page as well? Or would they only pick up Gtk2 pages? If someone has followed the download, and then searches Google for answers (as we have many times), they may or may not be able to figure out what's going on - depending on where they end up.
Maybe some kind of extra wording on the Download page in the meantime would help?

Hi MadeleineAlso, out of my own curiosity, what happens with sites like php-editors and others that carry copies of the manual? If they do an update, say the end of this month and pickup the 'manual' pages and get Gtk2 instructions....???Tough :) It's clearly marked 'PHP-GTK 2 Manual' both in the title bar (throughout) and on the manual index page, so hopefully people won't be too confused. - Steph
