Hi Christian,
I have not tested this on GTK, but I have been looking at shutdown
problems with the ZTS build and found that there is a difference between
CLI and CGI versions of PHP. This causes PHP to call the shutdown finction
multiple times for extensions that register a special dtor (tidy and
printer just to mention a few).
When I get a new hard drive for my notebook (it crashed yesterday), and
reinstall my development tools I'll try to build GTK with both ZTS and non
ZTS versions of PHP.
