Defines for PHP versions are even uglier because you have to do > and MAJOR and MINOR... that's why I jumped on the extension API number, which at least meant a single line. 'Course the other option would be to do pretty much as we did with the generator stuff - define the version somewhere so we can just have it as PHP_5_2 or whatever in the #ifdefs. But it'd still be best to stay with the extension API number as the base, because that got updated immediately after everything else did (like, within a day or two) so it's closest to reflecting reality. - Steph ----- Original Message ----- From: "Andrei Zmievski" <andrei@gravitonic.com> To: "Steph Fox" <steph@zend.com> Cc: "PHP-GTK dev" <php-gtk-dev@lists.php.net> Sent: Saturday, June 03, 2006 12:43 AM Subject: Re: [PHP-GTK-DEV] [PATCH] 5_2 compat stuff
Is there something better than ZEND_API_VERSION_NO that we can use? It's kind of ugly? Maybe a define for PHP version? I am not at my php-gtk machine right now, so I'll have to take a closer look at some parts of it when I get home. -Andrei On May 29, 2006, at 7:25 AM, Steph Fox wrote:
Andrei, hi, I didn't like to apply anything this clunky without your say-so... but it works fine. It's just clunky. Still no closer to a solution for the shutdown crash tho' I'm afraid, unless we take 'the Zeev route'. - Steph <php_gtk_5_2.txt>-- PHP-GTK Development Mailing List (http://gtk.php.net/) To unsubscribe, visit: http://www.php.net/unsub.php
