Nice work Anant. A few comments though...

This pageThis makes it sound like PHP-GTK 2 is broken where necessary. How about something like, "Although every attempt has been made to maintain backward compatibility, some backward compatibility breaks were necessary." Also, can we really consider PHP-GTK 2 mostly backward compatible? The change in how constants are handled enough to break even the simplest PHP-GTK 1 apps when running in PHP-GTK 2.

Atk and Pango support
Although the alpha release of PHP-GTK 2 does not include support forUse zeta instead of alpha. (This will be somewhat explained in the release announcement)

Connecting Signals
The semantically confusing connect_object() method of PHP-GTK 1 has been deprecated in favor of simpler substitutes, connect() and connect_simple().semantically confusing connect_object() and connect_object_after() methods ... substitutes, connect_simple() and connect_simple_after(). Also, these methods should probably link to the docs page. In fact, it might not be a bad idea to link any classes, methods or constants to their respective docs pages.

Deprecated Widgets
Some of the older widgets have been deprecated in favor of more powerful and easy to use widgets. Although the deprecated widgets will still work with PHP-GTK, you will receive a warning that urges you to use the new replacement widget instead.
There should be a link to the deprecated widgets page somewhere in this block. I am not recommending any changes here but keep in mind that "deprecated widgets will still work" is not always true. GtkText never worked to begin with.

We've covered these differences in more detail in the 'Changes since PHP-GTK 1' tutorial. Do have a look at that to make your transition from PHP-GTK 1 to 2 easier. The documentation is an invaluable resource, and of course the mailing lists are always there to help you out in troublesome situations. Hope you enjoy using PHP-GTK 2 as much as we enjoyed making it!
Links!
