Chris, I'm not able to reproduce any caching issues here either no
matter what I do. Is this also just happening on Opera, or is it more
widespread?
It also occurs when using Dillo.
wtf is Dillo?! - no don't tell me, lol...
Adding a
<meta http-equiv="expires" content="0" />
should help here.
These browsers nobody else uses don't understand no-cache?
The point is that the headers for the page are generated, so whatever goes there affects the whole site. If there's a minor issue in the not-much-used admin area that only affects two little-used and broken browsers - tough, administrators who want to use broken browsers can just hit the reload button, and I'm sure they'll need to do it on every other site out there too. If it happened for something everyone uses I'd be more concerned about fixing it.
Having said that, I pulled out my ancient copy of Opera and found it works fine for all redirects when I test it locally (including the login/out page loading), just not on the actual live site <shrug />. You tell me...
