On Mac OS X, everything compiles Ok, but its the Linker that created trouble: /usr/bin/ld: Multiple declaration for __global_arrays But that's most likely a problem with my configuration, since Andrei and a few others have compiled on the Mac. One last thing, I think we should mention the extension requirements for PHP.
